One Roof vs Roofr

Roofr is a roofing platform that advertises low-cost measurement reports and publishes its prices. One Roof is a roofing CRM that also covers storm, canvassing, a power dialer and sub payouts. Here is how they compare, using Roofr’s own pages.

Where Roofr is strong

  • Low-cost measurement reports. Own reports from $13, as fast as 2 hours (price varies by plan), per its pricing page. If you order a lot of reports, that’s a real reason to look.
  • It publishes its prices. Tiers and add-ons are on its pricing page, and it says there are no setup or onboarding fees.
  • Flexible terms. Month to month, or you can sign an annual contract.
  • The basics are built in. E-signatures and card and ACH payments on Essentials and above, and material ordering through ABC Supply, QXO (Beacon) and SRS. It also lists ESX files you can import into Xactimate.
  • Support seven days a week, per its homepage.

Where One Roof is different

  1. Storm and canvassing are in the product. We found neither built into Roofr’s site. One Roof checks hail against your own contacts and asks you before anything sends. Territories, knocks and dispositions run from the phone, and hail maps are included.
  2. A power dialer. Lasso a block or a hail swath on the map, pull the homes into a list, and the dialer works it while your rep talks. It’s +$10 a user a month. We didn’t find a power dialer on Roofr’s pages.
  3. Pay your subs from the job. The homeowner’s payment comes in, and your subs are paid out of the job, with the W-9 enforced and COIs tracked. Next-day ACH is $0 from us plus Moov’s 25¢, passed through at cost, and it syncs to QuickBooks. On Roofr we found crew management with costs entered by hand. Of the four roofing CRMs we compared, we didn’t find sub payouts in any.
  4. Mobile apps for every role. One Roof has mobile apps for owner, sales, canvasser and crew, each showing only that role’s tools. Roofr describes its mobile experience as a progressive web app that runs in the browser.
  5. An AI copilot that drafts and logs the work. Tell One Roof what happened in plain words and it updates the job, logs the note and drafts the text for you to send. AI usage bills to your prepaid wallet, with built-in daily safety limits. Roofr sells an AI Receptionist, a voice agent for inbound calls, as an add-on.
